The nest was across the...Yes, they are goose eggs. The nest was across the street, in a grassy lawn, only about 10 feet from the road! There the diligent goose sat, until she saw me and the dogs, and left the nest, giving me a photo opp for the eggs. They were covered with the down, to keep them warm, so I used a stick to move some of the down away and then put it back after the picture. I watched the nest and found the broken pieces of egg shell when the goslings hatched.
